Instagram yesterday and 2day

I am really satisfied on your participation in the Instagram's poll stories of my colleague @lilytheakou but also your participation at the Instagram's profile LilyWasHere.gr with today's photo, is deemed necessary (I could say afterwards: I did, however, ask. Didn't I?) So back to our🔥 theme of Friday's and the weekend's 🙈 (because it ain't going to be In which club we'll find ourselves facing the sunrise early on this Saturday's or Sunday's dawn):
🤔 Should I'll change my hair, the tiles or (psycho)drugs?

Λίλη Lily | LilyWasHere

Happy Friday+weekend to all of you.
Tell me about your plans. I won't be jealous.
However if there are good, I will be really happy.
And perhaps - from what I've mention earlier - this is the only sure thing 💋

Tasting the new pink chocolate KitKat Ruby

Ruby chocolate is worldwide presented as "a new kind of chocolate" or as "a new chocolate experience" and as you can well imagine, it has a light pink - ruby color.
This particular chocolate is made from Ruby cocoa beans which give the unique natural fruity taste of berries and even its color comes naturally, with a special grain processing technique and without adding any artificial coloring.
Did you try the new KitKat Ruby Pink Chocolate?
I did. Read below my review and what I have found out.

Sunday walks in the center

You know (from my posts) how much I love the historic center of Athens, I know (from the e-mails you keep on sending me) that the most of you - if not all of you - love it equally.

So isn't Sunday another good day for a nice walk in the historic center of Athens?

Sunny Sundays like today, with the weather (due to the cold winds) "showing its teeth", are ideal for great walks in the historic city center and not so much for walks to the beach (where I'm sure it would be very cold).
And from what I saw on the way many of you thought the same and so the narrow streets of Plaka and around the Acropolis hill, were filled today by people who were walking carefree.
From there (of course) are the photos I took today.

Enjoy the rest of your SUNday and night!

In Piree bar for a couple of drinks

This evening we went to the Piree cafe bar in Piraeus for a couple of drinks.
I don't have much to write about because it was my first visit to this place and I didn't get the full picture for a properly review.
Briefly the Piree's urban space reminds me of an old (remodeled) high-ceiling garage with details of wood, stone and marble, lots of indoor plants, many tiles hanging from the ceiling as well as several chandeliers too.
Ornamentally feels slightly gothic though its music was addressed to over 40 or 50 year olds customers with foreign and Greek songs that anyone could easily characterize them more as retro songs.
The service was quite slow when the bar was almost empty and paradoxically relatively quick when it was full of crowds. Still always polite.
The menu options are few but satisfactory, neither too cheap nor quite expensive. Cocktails were not awesome neither in technique nor in taste, the wines were tastefull and the portion of the food served is starring more on an accompanying role (to the drinks) than as main choices for dinner or an evening meal.
Do you want to read more about this place from its own website?

Plato's Other Half

“According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves ... and when one of them meets the other half, the pair are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy and one will not be out of the other's sight...”

Sunday on the beach!

I know it is the penultimate day of the Ho.Re.Ca exhibition at the airport and you asked me to go because it's about our favorite subject: The Greek tourism, Greek hotels and Greek gastronomy. But we went at 12.30 a.m. and in such a sunny day many other visitors probably did the exact same thinking so the result was that they were no parking space available and people from the exhibition were sending all the new visitors to the airport parking (that's about more than 3 kilometers away, with huge traffic - we had 30 minutes of delay on the car line to reach this parking and we weren't even close to get in there).
Unfortunately, the HoReCa organizers seemed a bit unorganized and unprepared for such a world response, harassing their visitors.
With such a sun we didn't let this to ruin our day.
We telephoned our good friends and arranged a Sunday coffee by the sea; on the sunny beach of Balux in Astera Glyfada.
Don't growl at me. You would do the same if you were me.
Tomorrow, if I can, I'll go to the exhibition - in the traditional (old fashion) way using: The metro and a bus.
If you want some more info for Ho.Re.Ca right now read an older post of mine(with the oldest page setup) from the year 2016 • here

Visit the Stoa of Attalos

The Stoa of Attalos is located in the archaeological site of the Ancient Agora of Athens, on the opposite side of the Temple of Hephaestus, thus forming its eastern boundary.
This stoa was constructed and presented as a gift by the king (of Pergamos) Attalos II (159-138 BC) to the ancient city of Athens.

These and much more from my last visit on the 3rd of the month - as always enriched with realistic photographs of the archaeological site and valid ticket information, opening hours and holiday days - in the relative tribute I posted ealier today.

Isn't Thursday a good day for sushi?

- Isn't Thursday a good day for sushi?
(Correct answer: Every day is a good day for sushi.)
So today I had an after work sushi and the opportunity to re-examine the location and the food of Nakama Sushi Bar in Nea Smirni.
Fortunately, even if I still don't go crazy on its decoration, I was able to confirm that the sushi this casual restaurant offers at its very good price is sometimes good enough and worthwhile to turn a blind eye to its interior design.

Besides that, the thing with the interior decoration issue maybe is a little bit subjective and you might find this place beautiful and interesting to your aesthetics.
No matter what you can have a second look to my recent review on this place and its menu in the related article and send me your own comments on it.
