Luxury • Lift+smooth:


✍️ As you may have read earlier in my other lifestyle's and beauty posts, Delia is a cosmetics company that although it has economical products, some of them offer a quite better quality unaccordingly to their low prices.


But what can we say about Delia's Luxury Look Lift and Smooth foundation?

Is it a truly high-quality makeup product at a low price or not? The results of this review are not based on any advertising or promotional activity but only on my testing with this economical foundation and finally on my overall experience of it.

◉ Delia foundation Luxury Look Lift and Smooth:

I was generally disappointed with this foundation.
Although when it comes to the question whether you can find quality products in affordable prices you know that I am a believer but if you buy this makeup in its low price (5 euros 30ml) honestly I personally think it going to be a waste of money.

Why is that?;

At first I have to declare that I prefer - when I try a foundation for the first time and in order to see its quality and results in my skin always - getting the darker shade that gives the result of a slightly tan skin.
That's how I can have a better look to the foundation's smoothness or whether it makes your skin looks like it is textured and certainly of how its shade actually gives me the look that I like: Like a summer tan.

This product, although it did not look so much in the hand test, its of a quite orange shade in its application to the face (look at the first following photo the orange shade on the forehead and in the 2nd photo the orang shade in all over the face).

Also, as you would might have seen on my forehead in the same picture (otherwise look closer) the application of the make-up created some irritation on my face, making my skin appears neither smooth at all - as this foundation promises, nor lifted but just as if it full of many small and colorless pimples (textured face).

And to get at this conclusion I tested this foundation more than once to make sure that no other product or any other skin problem was responsible for that look of my skin.

On;y when I fully removed the foundation of my skin my skin has finally calmed down and returned to its usual (smoother) look anf feeling.

In my second photo, which shows my skin looking smoother - was right after I had applied the foundation in all over my face and also helps that the lights aren't strong and the photo was shooted from a distance.

The second time (and the last one) I've tested this foundation on the daylight, I saw that it shows some small "patches" on the face.

The only solution I found to this problem was to mixthe makeup before with some very good moisturizing cream before applying it on very well hydrated skin, to keep on avoiding wear it on the daylight and shooting pictures from afar not with bright light.

Do you still want more?

If I was you I would definitely have persuaded myself untill now and I wouldn't have tried it (at least once more).
How your skin reacts on the foundation is a serious thing guys.

But can I be only an exception?
